Press briefing

A Press briefing will take place on Monday 16 November at 8.30am. Following introductory remarks about what the conference sets out to achieve journalists will have an opportunity to speak with the following individuals:

More than 150 participants from 50 countries across the globe ranging from Afghanistan to Gabon to the United States will be attending the conference. Organisations which will be sending numerous delegates include UK-based Global Witness and US-based Revenue Watch Institute.

Interviews

The conference provides an exciting and rare opportunity for journalists to conduct interviews with transparency campaigners from around the world, all of whom deal each day with the consequences of the so-called ‘resource curse’.

The PWYP press team will be happy arrange interviews between journalists and campaigners on 16 November 2009.
