Sub-National Capacity Building Pilot Projects

PWYP member the Revenue Watch Institute is launching a series of sub-national capacity-building pilot projects to improve state/regional and local governments’ effective collection and use of extractive industry revenues. The projects will also build the capacity of civil society to participate, monitor and evaluate both government and company performance. Pilots are underway in Indonesia, Peru and Nigeria. Another is likely to be launched in Ghana.
